Proposed overseas venues for PSL 10, playoffs

The proposal of overseas venues for the playoffs of Pakistan Super League (PSL) edition 10 has come out.

Sources say that for the four matches of the play-offs, the names of three venues in England, Manchester, Birmingham and Oval London are being considered.

Having the playoffs abroad is expected to benefit PSL in several ways, PSL broadcasters include England’s leading broadcaster.

Sources say that the PSL will benefit due to England’s broadcaster, the England market will also benefit from the inclusion of 8 teams from the 11th edition.

The objective of England’s neutral venue is to attract the attention of fans of Pakistan and India, on the other hand, the venue of Australia has also been discussed in the general council meeting of PSL.

Sources say that there will be further consultation on the neutral venue of the PSL playoffs, the PSL window and the neutral venue will be discussed in the governing council meeting.

It may be noted that the PSL Governing Council meeting is expected in the third week of May, a window of April 7 to May 20 has been suggested for the PSL.

Note that PSL is expected to be held from April 17 to May 20.
