What are the benefits of the clash of the tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) with the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The first benefit will be seen in the drafting process as the top foreign players who are not selected in the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be available for the PSL as the boards will be available during the IPL window. International matches are not scheduled.
Recently, many foreign players complained about not getting matches during the IPL and if the PSL takes place during this time, all those cricketers will turn to the PSL.

Another advantage can be seen in the form of broadcasting as most of the IPL matches are high scoring where there is nothing on the pitch for the bowlers whereas in PSL this is not the case, here the bowlers also benefit. In the 2024 edition, out of 34 matches, there were only 6 matches where 200 or more scores were scored.

Compared to this, during the 57 matches of the current IPL edition, 20 matches scored 200 or more runs, while there were 4 matches that reached a total of 199 or 195. Similarly, during 57 matches, the bowlers hit 1 thousand 15 sixes and 1 thousand 773 fours. There are still 16 matches left in the tournament, including the playoffs, in which many more records can be set.
PSL can also get hype because of competitive matches between batsmen and bowlers.
