PTCL’s traffic was not affected by the submarine cable cut, the spokesman said

The statement of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited came out on the matter of cutting the fiber optic cable connecting Pakistan and Europe from Singapore.

The spokesperson of PTCL says that PTCL’s traffic has not been affected due to submarine cable cut, PTCL’s traffic is normal.

The spokesperson said that cable is not a part of PTCL’s network infrastructure, PTCL’s network is working perfectly without any service degradation.

According to reports, the fiber optic cable connecting Singapore to Pakistan and Europe has been cut.

According to sources, the South East Asia, Middle East Europe cable has been cut near Indonesia, five cuts have been made on the optical fiber submarine cable.

According to sources, it will take a month to fix the cable. The cable cut has affected the traffic coming from the east direction of PTCL and Transworld.
