Punjab Chief Minister’s order to take precautionary measures in case of possible rains

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered preventive and necessary administrative measures on the possibility of rains.

Maryam Nawaz has ordered the Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and MD WASA to be active for drainage while giving instructions for taking pre-emptive measures on the forecast of torrential rains in the province till April 29.

The Chief Minister of Punjab directed the concerned officers to be present in all the shift fields and said that the administration and VASA should be active, resources should be utilized for drainage.

Maryam Nawaz says that the people of the low-lying areas should be warned about the situation in advance, while steps should be taken to protect the livestock in the rural areas.
