Lahore: Punjab has been gripped by intense heat, the Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of rain with thunder and lightning today and tomorrow.

According to the Meteorological Department, Punjab, including the provincial capital Lahore, is temporarily under the grip of heat, after which there is a possibility of rain with thunder in most districts today and tomorrow.

Meanwhile, PDMA, the provincial body that deals with natural disasters, has informed in its alert that there is a possibility of hailstorm in some places along with rain.

According to weather forecast today and tomorrow Murree, Guliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba. Wind, squall and thundershowers are expected in Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Leh, Sahiwal and Bahawalpur.
