In the religion of Islam, good behavior for treating parents has been strongly emphasized and it is forbidden to misbehave with them, the right of parents over children is so great that Allah Ta’ala has described the right of parents along with His right. That is, the creation of God has given priority to the rights of parents over all other rights.

In the same way, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has declared disobeying parents and causing them pain and suffering as a great sin, those who mistreat their parents have been deprived of divine mercy and paradise. It is true, among them, if someone is made a father, then someone is given the status of a mother, and if someone is made a son, then someone is given the status of a daughter. .

It is not necessary to fulfill each of these rights, but the right of parents is mentioned by Allah Almighty in the Holy Qur’an immediately after his service and obedience. Parents have the greatest right. Allah, the Exalted, says, Translation: “And your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and treat your parents with kindness, if they reach old age in your lifetime.”

In this verse, Allah, the Exalted, first of all commanded His servitude and obedience: Do not worship anyone else except Me. After that, He said: Be kind to parents. Children should think that parents are not only the reason for my existence, but what I am today.

With their blessings, it is the parents who not only endure all kinds of pain, suffering and hardship for the sake of their children, but sometimes sacrifice their own comfort, happiness and desire for the sake of their children. . Allah Ta’ala has ordered to treat parents well, that is, treat them with the utmost humility and respect, do not be disrespectful, do not be arrogant, and obey them in all circumstances. If they command disobedience to Allah, then their obedience is not permissible.

In Surah Al-Ankabut, Allah Ta’ala says, “We have commanded man to be kind to his parents and we have also told him that if they insist upon you, then do such a thing.” associate with me those whom you do not have any evidence for as gods, then do not accept their sayings.” Allah mentioned the old age of the parents in particular and said that if one or both of them If you reach old age in your life, don’t even say “Uff” to them and don’t talk to them in a scolding way. If something is unpleasant to them, don’t even say “yes” to them in response. Allah, the Exalted, mentioned the state of old age especially because in the youth of the parents, the children did not have the courage to say “yes” nor to rebuke, and the fear of rudeness and insolence was less in the youth. He said yes both are alive. He (peace be upon him) said, “Are you seeking reward from Allah?” He said yes, he said: Go back to your parents and treat them well (Muslim Shareef 2549). O Messenger of Allah! I want to do Jihad and I have come to seek your advice. He said, Is your mother (alive)? He said yes, then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Stay in the service of your mother, because Paradise is at her feet.” Are your parents alive?

They said yes, so he said, “Go and serve them, because heaven is under their feet.” Hadrat Abu Huraira (RA) says that the Prophet (PBUH) said: This person’s nose is found in the dust, this person’s nose is found in the dust, this person’s nose is found in the dust (he said three times) It was asked, O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace! Whose (nose found in dust)? So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “He who found both his parents or one of them in the state of old age and then could not enter Paradise (that is, he could not be entitled to Paradise by serving them or pleasing them)” (Muslim Shareef 2551) ) Someone asked Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) that I carried my mother on my shoulder from Khorasan and brought her to Baitullah and in the same way carried her on my shoulder to perform Hajj.

Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar Radiyallahu Anhuma said: “No, not at all, all this is not even equal to the one cycle of the mother that she placed in your womb.” Someone asked Hazrat Hasan (RA) how to treat parents well. So they said: So spend your wealth on them, and obey what they command you, yes, if they command a sin, do not obey. Hazrat Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhu said that one of the good behaviors towards parents is that you should not even wash your clothes in front of them, lest the dust and dust of the clothes get on them.

Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (RA) narrated that once the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) stood up on the pulpit and he (PBUH) said (Amen) three times. Muhammad ï·º! Remove it with mercy. When you said Amen, I said Amen.
