Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s words of praise for Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh surprised the actor.
Actors Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali from the film ‘Amar Singh Chamikla’ participated in ‘The Great Indian Couple Show’.
Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz Ali revealed that once Shah Rukh Khan told him that if there is any best actor in this country, it is his Diljit Paaji.
Diljit Dosanjh was surprised by the director’s revelation while Parineeti Chopra praised the comment.
On this occasion, Imtiaz Ali also said that if Diljit Dosanjh had not agreed to the film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, this film could not have been made.
It may be noted that ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ was recently released on Netflix and is based on the life of a superstar singer from Punjab who was murdered at the age of 27.
