Speaker Punjab Assembly angry over arrests, raids of opposition members

Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan was furious over the arrests and raids of opposition members.

Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan asked for the report of the cases registered against the members of the assembly and ordered to form a committee against police action.

Speaker Punjab Assembly said that how many members were raided and arrested from their homes? A report should be submitted.

On this, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mujtaba Shujaur Rahman said that tomorrow I will present a detailed report on the raids in the House and I assure that this will not happen in the future.

People’s Party leader Rana Aftab Ahmed Khan told the House that there are 20 cases against me, Kaleemullah and Kanwal and others were robbed.
