Sri Lanka squad announced for T20 World Cup

Sri Lanka’s squad for T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced.

The Sri Lankan team will be led by veteran all-rounder Vinandu Hasaranga while Charith Asalanka will be his deputy.

Other players in the squad include Kaushal Mendis, Pathum Nisanaka, Kamindu Mendis, Sudira Samara Wickrama, Angelo Mathews and Dasun Shanaka.

Dhananjaya de Silva, Mahesh Thakshana and Duneeth Velalage, Dushmantha Chimera, Nawan Thushara, Mathisha Phathi Rana and Dilshan Madhu Shanka are also part of the squad.

Apart from the 15-member team, four traveling reserves are also included in the Sri Lankan squad.
