Stop the exploitation of farmers, Nadeem Afzal Chan

Pakistan People’s Party demanded farmers to buy one grain of wheat.

Nadeem Afzal Chan said during a press conference at the People’s Party Secretariat in Model Town Lahore that the rulers should stop exploiting the farmers. Farmers have not received a single rupee in the subsidy of 12 billion rupees.

The PP leader added that there was a good crop of wheat despite expensive fertilizers and expensive equipment. What saved Pakistan is agriculture, when the farmer is prosperous, the shopkeeper is also prosperous.

Nadeem Afzal Chan also said that the caretaker government allowed the private sector to import wheat instead of depleting the stock.

He said that if wheat is cheap outside, the farmer has to suffer, wheat and cotton are the national crops of the country.

The PP leader said that no relief was given to the farmer even during the corona virus, the authorities should stop the exploitation of the farmer, we will also protest if necessary.
