Former national team wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal dropped Haris Rauf from his 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup 2024.
After Waqar Younis, Bazid Khan, Salman Butt and Basit Ali, former national team wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal has also selected his 15-member squad for Pakistan’s ICCT20 World Cup.
Former cricketer and member of the selection committee, Kamran Akmal did not give Haris Rauf a place in the 15-member squad of the T20 World Cup, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah and Abbas Afridi were included in the squad for the fast bowling line-up.

Kamran Akmal selected national team captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan for the opening, while Irfan Khan Niazi, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Azam Khan were placed in the lower middle order for power hitting.

Former wicketkeeper Usama Mir and all-rounder Amir Jamal were in doubt over their inclusion in the squad.
