T20 World Cup; Why the delay in announcing the Pakistani team?

Most of the member countries of the International Cricket Council, including the associate countries, have announced their squads for next month’s ICCT20 World Cup scheduled in America and West Indies.
However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to finalize its possible 15-member squad for the World Cup.
According to media reports, the reason for the delay in the World Cup squad is the fitness issues of some players.

One of the selectors of the national team has said that “Although most of the unfit players have started training, their match fitness is being checked to see if they are available for the team to play at the international level.”
