The budget for FY 2024-25 is likely to be presented in the first week of June

Karachi: The federal government is likely to present the budget for the upcoming financial year 2024-25 in the first week of June.

Sources in the Ministry of Finance say that the annual meeting of APCC will be held on May 28 to 29, in which funds will be approved for various ministries and divisions. Earlier, the annual meeting was scheduled in the first week of May.

Apart from this, the meeting of the National Economic Council is also likely to be called late. As per the scheduled schedule, the NEC meeting will be held in the second week of May while the budget for the new financial year is proposed to be presented in the first week of June.
