Islamabad: Independent Senator Faisal Vawda has said that the drama of making the army controversial should stop, negotiations were attempted, when there was no response, a new statement came.

Speaking to private TV, Senator Faisal Vawda said that if you look at the past, former Army Chief General (Rtd) Qamar Javed Bajwa was a very bad man. He had overthrown the regime and had done a lot. He said that first Bajwa was bad then he became good. This is the double standard of PTI. Once you decide whether they were good or bad. Then he said that this army regime that has come has done all this against us. Then the PTI people sent messages to them that we want to talk to you. I want to talk to the same chief and the same DG ISI. This drama must end now. It is not acceptable to make the army controversial and play games on it again and again.

Faisal Vawda further said that the current government has committed a big folly. He should talk to Maulana Fazlur Rehman. If you put Mr. Zardari in the middle, things will get better.

Faisal Vawda said that it is a strange coincidence in the history of Pakistan when the IMF is about to give an installment, the stock exchange is going to the heights, or a team of investors has come to Pakistan like the Saudis. When it comes to improving Pakistan, two things happen. Or confrontation, arson, protests, riots on the streets, bloodshed. Or like when the Punjab government gives cheap bread, there is a stay order on it.
