The election of Chairman PAC, senior PTI leaders opposed Sher Afzal

Islamabad: In the matter of the election of the Chairman PAC, differences also emerged within the opposition on the name of Sher Afzal Marwat.

According to Express News, Asad Qaiser, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Junaid Akbar, Zain Qureshi started lobbying for the chairmanship of PAC, the senior leaders of the party opposed making Sher Afzal Marwat the chairman of PAC.

Sources say that the members have opined that one of the senior members of the party should be given the chairmanship of this important committee, but due to differences, the opposition has not yet given any name to the speaker in writing.

Sources say that the opposition has not contacted the government on this matter, none of the opposition members can become the chairman of PAC without the support of the government.
