Damascus: More than 42 people, including Hezbollah commanders and soldiers, were killed and many were injured in the explosions near the airport of Aleppo, Syria.
According to the international news agency, 5 commanders of Hezbollah and 36 Syrian soldiers are also among those killed in the Israeli airstrikes.
The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that dozens of people were seriously injured in the attacks, of which 8 are in critical condition, and the death toll is expected to increase.
Another war monitor group in Syria claimed that the Israelis hit an arms depot near Aleppo’s international airport, causing massive explosions and fires.
The Syrian state news agency SANA also confirmed the massive loss of lives and property of soldiers and civilians in the Israeli attacks, but did not provide figures.
The Israeli military has not confirmed the attacks, but it is said that a Hezbollah weapons depot was targeted.
