Beijing: US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken arrived in China on a 3-day visit, where the issue of Iran, including Israel, Hamas and the Russia-Ukraine war were discussed in a meeting full of complaints.
According to the World News Agency, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken met with President Xi Jinping in Beijing and expressed concern over China’s support for Russia in the Ukraine war.
Chinese President Xi Jinping said that China and the US should not be rivals but partners and the two countries should avoid “devilish competition” with each other.
Antony Blanken also met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, and expressed concern over reports of helping Iran. He also demanded China to stop supplying war weapons and equipment to Russia.
On which the Chinese Foreign Minister expressed concern over the approval of the military aid package to Taiwan by the US and said that this is China’s red line that should not be crossed.
The Chinese foreign minister added that Sino-US relations are beginning to stabilize, but the relationship is still being tested by “negative factors”.
In a conversation with journalists, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken clarified that there was no discussion regarding a possible ban on Tik Tok in the US during the meeting with the Chinese President.
