The mother came to the court on a wheelchair to recover her missing son

An elderly woman in a wheelchair fell unconscious while following the case of her missing son in the Sindh High Court Karachi. The husband kept trying to revive her by pouring water on her.

The Sindh High Court, while hearing the petition related to the recovery of the missing citizen Samir Afridi, summoned the Sindh Home Secretary and the DIG Investigation.

The court also sought a report from the Federal Interior Secretary.

The court said that when enforced disappearance has been determined, it should be told which institution has the person?

The elderly mother of the missing citizen, giving decades in the court room, said that if justice cannot be done and the truth cannot be brought out, then the courts should be closed.

Justice Nimatullah Phalputo said that our sympathy is with you, the court is trying hard to recover your son.

The public prosecutor said that Sameer Afridi is an enforced disappearance, which has been determined in the JITs and Task Force meeting.

Justice Nimatullah Phalputo inquired that where is the investigating officer?

The public prosecutor said that the investigating officer has gone to Islamabad to attend the meeting.

The focal person of the Home Department told the court that a summary has been sent to the Chief Minister for the financial support of the family.

Justice Khadim Hussain Tanyu said that don’t talk about things that don’t exist. How many people are standing here to save an investigating officer? All are engaged to save the investigating officer by taking salary from the government.
