In the tour of Ireland and the series against England, questions started to arise about the return of fast bowler Hasan Ali to the squad.
When the members of the selection committee in Lahore announced the 18-member squad against Ireland and England, the spinner Osama Mir was dropped and Hasan Ali was made a part of the squad in his place, on which the fans expressed their anger.
Cricket fans raised the question that spin conditions will be found in America and West Indies, Osama Mir was supposed to be in the World Cup squad but he was dropped and if he was dropped because of Shadab Khan, then Hasan Ali was replaced by Amir Jamal and Mohammad. Why wasn’t Wasim Jr. given a chance?

Fans expressed their anger and said that Hasan Ali suddenly became a part of the squad even during the scheduled 2023 World Cup in India and now he was included in the team again before the start of T20 World Cup 2024.

On the other hand, Hasan Ali played the last T20 international match against Sri Lanka in the year 2022.
