The decision of the electricity distribution companies to put the maintenance cost on the consumers
The electricity distribution companies have decided to pay the entire 6 billion rupees of maintenance to the consumers.
The power distribution companies have submitted an application to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).
Electricity distribution companies have also sent a request to Nepra to collect Rs 31 billion 34 crore of capacity charges.
Nepra will hear the request of electricity distribution companies on May 17 to pass the burden of Rs 51 billion 88 crore on consumers, whatever decision is made will apply to K Electric as well.
