The United States strongly supports Israeli efforts to prevent a situation like October 7

US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken participated in the discussion of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.

On the occasion of his visit to Saudi Arabia, Antony Blanken said that he fully supports the Israeli efforts to ensure that a situation like October 7 never happens again.

He said that they are also trying to end the suffering of the people of Gaza caught in the crossfire. Our focus is on protecting and supporting civilians in Gaza.

The US Secretary of State said the immediate way to end the suffering of Gaza is a ceasefire and the release of hostages.

He said that this is an unusually generous offer from Israel to Hamas. Currently, Hamas stands between the people of Gaza and a ceasefire. Now Hamas has to make a decision soon, hopefully Hamas will make the right decision.

Antony Blanken said that the military will not support the operation in Rafah without ensuring the safety of civilians.

The US Secretary of State said that he has worked a lot with Saudi Arabia in the past for Saudi-Israeli relations. The work being done together with Saudi Arabia is very close to completion.

According to Antony Blanken, peace in Gaza and an authentic path to a Palestinian state are essential to moving forward on Saudi-Israeli relations.
