Things will remain the same in Sindh

The People’s Party has established a unique record in the country’s power, which has ruled Sindh for 16 consecutive years in the 57 years of its establishment, and since 2008, the People’s Party has ruled Sindh continuously.

In the recent elections of the country, the People’s Party won the third position, but it formed the government in Sindh for the fourth time with a clear majority, which is its third government alone in Sindh, for which it did not share power with any other party. Because he had his own majority and didn’t even need anyone’s support.

In 2008, Asif Zardari included the MQM in the Sindh government, which was not happy with his close and trusted old colleague Dr. Zulfikar Mirza, who was also the senior and influential interior minister of Sindh, who openly opposed the MQM. took extreme steps and left the ministry and parted ways with his close friend Asif Zardari, but his wife remained in the position of speaker of the National Assembly during the PP era, after which she also joined the PP. She has been working with the opponents of and joined the GDA with Dr. Zulfikar Mirza, but the Mirza group could not achieve success this time as well and after 2008, the PPP has parted ways with the MQM. Political differences in India not only persist but are constantly increasing.

MQM first demanded to call the army in Sindh while holding the People’s Party government responsible for the unrest in Sindh and now it is demanding that Karachi should be handed over to the federation. Some other political parties in Sindh are also against the People’s Party and its Sindh government and they are of the view that a clear victory has been achieved by rigging the February 8 election in Sindh.

In Sindh, MQM, PTI, GDA and Jamaat-e-Islami certainly got a chance to elect their people in the Sindh Assembly, but surprisingly, JUI did not get even one seat while JUI had There were also strong candidates in Sindh and JUI had fielded more candidates than ever in Sindh who also got good votes but could not get any seats while Maulana Fazlur Rahman also held election rallies in Sindh but JU I, GDA, PTI.

Jamaat-e-Islami and Muslim League (N) contested the elections independently but they did not unite and form an alliance against the PP and the League (N) was not in a position to conduct an election campaign in Sindh, which according to former political The People’s Party benefited, which achieved great success and not only formed the government for the fourth time in Sindh, but for the first time, despite the absence of a PP government in the federation, the constitutional position of the country’s highest president, the chairmanship of the Senate and the National Assembly. I also got the post of Deputy Speaker, while after Sindh, Balochistan also has a coalition government of PP.

People’s Party did not get such a great success even in the presence of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto and the People’s Party is the only party in the country which has formed a strong government in Sindh for the fourth consecutive time and this time MQM in Sindh. He is also not in favor of giving the governorship, while according to the agreement with the (N) League, the post of governor in Sindh and Balochistan should be given to the Muslim League (N) and the governorship of Punjab and KPK where there is no People’s Party government, should be given to the People’s Party. to meet PP has not taken any ministry in the federation, but PP is making decisions of its own accord in the federation and the (N) League federal government is completely dependent on the People’s Party for power in the federation.

After the 18th Amendment, the provinces are more empowered than the federation and in some cases the federation is bound to fulfill the demand of the provinces. Whether the federal government agrees with the KP government or not, it is not powerful enough to reject or delay the demand of the People’s Party in relation to the governments of Sindh and Balochistan.

The condition of Sindh is very bad where there is no good governance and the condition of law and order is not good. The Sindh High Court has ordered the Sindh government to improve law and order in one month while the federal government is not in a position to give any direction or advice to the Sindh government for law and order in the province. Shak organized a protest movement against government rigging by holding large rallies and MQM kept demanding to give powers to the local bodies of Karachi and Sindh. PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami together cannot make any of their demands from the Sindh government.

All the opposition parties of Sindh have united against the Sindh government of PP, but all of them together can make any of their demands from the Sindh government, and the federal government does not have enough power to fulfill any of the demands of the Sindh opposition on its own. Can persuade Sindh Govt. Whatever happens in Sindh, the affairs of Sindh will remain the same because People’s Party dominates and empowers all these opposition parties. Whether the opposition keeps making demands or unites and comes to the streets, nothing will happen. This is the beauty of this so-called democracy.
