Quota: During the robbery incident in the bus, a passenger government official was shot dead by the robbers.
According to the police, robbers robbed a bus in Kahota police station area of ​​Rawalpindi, during which the passenger was killed and the driver of the bus was injured.
The passenger bus was going to Lahore from Forward Kahota Azad Kashmir. The driver left the original route late at night and tried to take a short route, where the bandits had set up a roadblock. The robbers surrounded the Paker vehicle on the spot and got into the bus and stole cash and mobile phones from the passengers.
During the incident, a passenger caught hold of the robber, on which his accomplices opened fire, killing one passenger, who is said to be a government official, while the bus driver was injured by a bullet in the stomach.
The robbers fled after looting. On receiving the information, SHO Kahota arrived at the spot along with Inspector Aziz Aslam Nifri. The body of the dead passenger and the injured driver were shifted to the hospital. The police have started the action after collecting the evidence.
