Torrential rains in different areas of Saudi Arabia

Apart from the urban areas, the desert valleys were also filled with water due to torrential rains in different areas of Saudi Arabia.

According to Arab media, there have been heavy rains in Riyadh, Al-Kharj, Al-Qasim, Burida, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa, Al-Jail and other areas.

Major highways and underpasses of the cities were flooded while many vehicles were washed away.

According to Saudi media, rain water entered the business centers while many flights had to be canceled due to bad weather.

The Saudi traffic police has requested the public to avoid unnecessary travel and going to desert valleys.

According to the Saudi Meteorological Department, the weather will remain uncertain for the next two days.
