Two squash players from Pakistan upset in Ireland over non-arrival of equipment

Pakistan’s top squash players Asim Khan and Noor Zaman have reached Ireland to play two tournaments but their equipment could not reach, both have rackets and no shoes while their first match is scheduled for Wednesday evening.

Noor Zaman and Asim Khan will first compete in the West Ireland Open and then the Irish Open. Both the players arrived in Ireland on Monday to attend the event but their luggage has not arrived yet.

The $12,000 West of Ireland Open started on Tuesday, with Asim Khan the top seed in the event. He and Noor Zaman got a bye in the first round while the second round is scheduled for Wednesday evening.

Both the players are still suffering due to non-availability of equipment.

Asim Khan told Geo News that he arrived in Istanbul Ireland via a foreign airline, the flight duration was extended due to the disruption in the air routes, due to which the connecting flight was delayed by only half an hour due to which the luggage on that flight was delayed. Couldn’t come.

According to Asim, the airline first asked to deliver the luggage on Tuesday and then assured to deliver the luggage on Wednesday morning.

Both the players have to play their respective matches at 5 pm and if the equipment is not received on time, there may be problems for the players.
