Washington, D.C. Finance Minister’s Roundtable with Investors

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb attended a round table conference with investors in Washington.

In the round table conference, the finance minister highlighted the stable economic indicators of Pakistan.

In the conference, the finance minister informed the participants about the reduction in inflation, stable currency, strong growth of the agricultural sector.

The Finance Minister informed about strong remittances, increasing foreign exchange reserves and boom in the stock market.

He said that the country wants to join a bigger and expanded program with the IMF.

The main priorities of the government regarding the privatization program were discussed in the conference.

Apart from this, government priorities on taxation, energy sector reforms were also discussed in the conference.
