Like everything else in Japan, the toilets are made high-tech, minimizing the need to use hands to avoid the risk of germs.

These toilets in the city of Tokyo are ‘contactless’ in which everything from the door to opening the faucet is done only with the help of voice commands.

You can also enjoy music of your choice in these toilets while physically challenged people can also use these washrooms easily.

According to the Daily Star website, modern hi-tech toilets are attracting tourists and interesting guided tours are being organized for them which are becoming very popular among tourists.

The Nippon Foundation launched this project in 2020 with the aim of making toilet access easier for everyone.
