Woman gets back her 54-year-lost engagement ring

Cardiff: A woman in Wales has miraculously found her engagement ring that went missing 54 years ago.

According to media reports, a woman named Marilyn Birch from Wales has finally recovered her engagement ring, which had been missing for 54 years.

Marilyn, 76, told local media that getting the ring back was a really emotional experience for me. I lost the ring in 1970 while feeding cattle on my family farm.

The woman said that I and my family tried to find her again and again for several days to see if she could be found. Eventually we gave up and mentally accepted that the ring was lost.

On the other hand, a citizen named Keith Phillips, an avid metal detectorist, decides to look for the ring after hearing about Marilyn’s recent incident. Keith approached the farm several times and asked for permission to find the ring on the land, which the owner gave them.

Mr. Keith came and searched the land for over a week with metal detectors, Marilyn said. A week or so later Mr. Phillips came to me and showed me the ring on his fist. At first I couldn’t believe my eyes but it turned out to be my ring.

The woman added that I cannot thank Keith Phillips enough for what he did for me.
