Karachi: The famous players of Pakistan and India will once again face each other in the World Champions of Legends Cricket League scheduled in England.
Teams from England, Australia, West Indies, South Africa, India and Pakistan will participate in the World Champions of Legends Cricket League scheduled from July 3 to 13, 2024 at the Edgbaston Ground in Birmingham.
The world’s leading senior cricketers are participating in the first-of-its-kind Legends League sanctioned by the England Cricket Board (ECB), including former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee, English batsman Kevin Pietersen, South Africa’s Maynaz All. Rounder Jacques Kallis, India’s stylish batsman Yuvraj Singh and spinner Harbajan Singh among others.
In the league, the Pakistan champions team will be led by former Test captain and World Cup T20 champion captain Younis Khan, the team will include Shahid Khan Afridi and other well-known cricketers.
Legends Cricket League’s signing ceremony with Pakistan Champions team was held at a local hotel, signed by Kamil Khan on behalf of the league and Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan on behalf of the team, cake was also cut at the ceremony.
Kamil Khan said that being an ICC event, anti-corruption in the league will be fully ensured, steps will also be taken to control the spectators from Pakistan and India.
Central contract players can participate in the league after getting NOC, but the league is the best option for players who do not get opportunities to play cricket.
