The investigation against the accused for their relationship with the Modi government is ongoing

Toronto: Canadian police have arrested three Indian nationals in the murder case of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nagar.

According to a foreign news agency, three Indian citizens have been charged with murder and attempted murder in the case of the murder of Khalistan Tehreek leader Hardeep Singh Nagar. The Canadian police have also started an investigation against the accused for their links with the Modi government.

Police Superintendent Mandeep Mokar said that the three suspects were identified as 22-year-old Kiran Brar, 22-year-old Kamalpreet Singh and 28-year-old Kiranpreet Singh, who are residents of Edmonton, Alberta.

It should be noted that 45-year-old Hardeep Singh Nagar was shot dead in Vancouver, Canada in June 2023. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had accused India of involvement in the murder, after which relations between the two countries became strained.
