Punjab Chief Minister announces Good Friday and Easter bonus for Christian employees

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced Good Friday and Easter bonus for Christian employees.

According to Express News, the Punjab government has announced good news for LWMC workers, announcing a bonus of Rs 5000 for Christian employees on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter.

In this regard, a notification has also been issued by the HR department on the direction of CEO Babar Sahib Din.

According to the notification, 9199 center workers, 73 supervisors, 250 drivers, 6 helpers will be given Good Friday and Easter bonus. A zero waste operation will be conducted across the city before the Good Friday holiday. All workers will work in field more than 2 hours from their shift.

Cleaning of 266 churches of the city will be ensured before the Easter celebrations. Manual sweeping and scraping process will be completed exclusively in Sechin Colonies by 78.

Operational machinery will remain active in the field on Good Friday and Easter, the notification said. Citizens are requested to support the LWMC staff to keep the city clean.
