Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan heckled and booed by pro-Palestine protesters at the human rights conference
At the human rights conference in Lahore, pro-Palestinian youths obstructed the German ambassador’s speech and raised slogans in support of the people of Gaza.
The 5th Asma Jahangir Conference has started in a local hotel in Lahore, in which well-known personalities including foreign diplomats are participating. Federal Minister for Law Nazir Tarar, Senior Supreme Court Judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah also attended the event.

As soon as German Ambassador to Pakistan Alfred Granas started his speech, some of the young people in the audience got up and started a loud dialogue. The students also raised slogans in favor of Gaza and Palestine.
The youth raised slogans of Free Free Palestine. The German ambassador could not control himself for speaking loudly and scolded the youth. The organizers of the conference expelled the youth who spoke in favor of Palestine from the human rights conference.

Former President of the Supreme Court Bar Ahsan Bhawan, speaking at the Asma Jahangir Conference, said that people have been arrested for protesting in favor of Palestine in major universities of the world this week, Asma Jahangir continues to stand against the dictatorship.
