Acting career started due to strike in Maharashtra, Aamir Khan

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has revealed that his acting career started accidentally due to a strike in Maharashtra.

Speaking on ‘The Great Kapil Sharma Show’, the actor said that due to the strike in Maharashtra, he did not go to the theater rehearsal and was kicked out of the theater two days before the show.

The actor said that he came out crying that his career ended before it started, but two boys came and offered the actor a diploma film at the Pune Institute.

After Aamir Khan watched the film Diploma, an editor gave him a new film and after doing two films, Ketan Mehta cast him in the film ‘Holi’ in 1984 and after that his showbiz career began.

The actor said that if there had not been a strike in Maharashtra on the day of the theater rehearsal, he might not have become an actor.
