An attempt to smuggle 9.5 kg of jewelery worth 19 crores failed at Karachi Airport

Karachi: Pakistan Customs Jinnah International Airport The Collectorate foiled smuggling of gold jewelery and foreign currency during an operation at the Jinnah Terminal Departure Lounge.

He said that during the search, 1172 dollars worth of South African dirhams and Rials were also recovered from the said family. He said that the above-mentioned five-member family was trying to take gold ornaments to Dubai, South Africa.

Officials registered a case and seized the recovered gold ornaments and foreign currency while the passengers were arrested and will be produced in court.
