Antarctica’s volcano began spewing gold
Raining gold from the sky may seem like a dream, but in the continent of Antarctica, it is a reality that gold rains from the sky here.
It is said in this passage that the active volcano in Antarctica spews out small transparent and shiny particles of gold equal to about 80 grams, which is worth 6 thousand dollars.
Between the glaciers erupts Mount Erebus, an active volcano on the planet’s southernmost side, providing heat to the frozen landscape.
It should be noted that there are 138 volcanoes in this frozen continent. According to a 2017 study, 9 of them are active. Mount Erebus which is 12,448 ft (3,794 m) high and quite famous.
Remember that Mount Erebus is one of the three volcanoes that make up Rose Island, it was discovered by Captain James Clark Rose in 1841 and it was still spewing lava.
