Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah says that today (April 27) is a very important day in the parliamentary history of Sindh. As a result of the establishment of the Sindh Assembly, the establishment of Pakistan became possible.

The spokesperson of Sindh Chief Minister Abdul Rasheed Chana says that the first session of Sindh Assembly was held on 27 April 1937.

The provincial chief minister says that Sindh came into existence as a state after the separation from Bombay, the establishment of the legislative assembly marked the beginning of democratic and parliamentary politics in Sindh.

He says that the establishment of Pakistan became possible as a result of the establishment of the Sindh Assembly, the People’s Party is working to maintain democratic traditions, and the People’s Party has made sacrifices for the strengthening of democratic institutions.

He said that we will not let the sacrifices made by the people of Sindh for democracy go in vain.

The Chief Minister of Sindh also congratulated the members of the Assembly, the people of Sindh and democratic institutions around the world on the occasion of today’s day.
