KARACHI: A vehicle carrying foreigners has been targeted in Landhi Mansehra Colony, the police foiled the attack and killed 2 terrorists.

According to ARY News, there was an explosion and firing on a vehicle in Landhi Mansehra Colony, there were foreign nationals in the vehicle, who were safe.

Police sources say that one terrorist blew himself up, another terrorist was killed in an encounter with the police, a bag was also found with the dead terrorists.

Police say that there are hand grenades in the bag, a motorcycle and a pick-up truck nearby were hit by the blast, all the foreign guests in the vehicle are safe. While Rangers and police have surrounded the area.

It should be noted that the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled the heinous plan of terrorism in Karachi by carrying out an important operation on the national highway yesterday.

CTD officials said that 4 terrorists were caught bringing explosive materials to Karachi, the suspicious car was stopped and searched near Rohri on the national highway.

According to the authorities, explosive materials were recovered from the car, after which 4 accused were arrested, the four accused are wanted in different cases while there are more than 16 cases against them in different police stations of Karachi.

During the investigation, the accused admitted that they were carrying the explosive materials to Karachi with the intention of terrorism.
