Karachi suicide blast, all five foreigners were safe, 2 terrorists were killed

Regarding the suicide blast near the van in Landhi Mansehra Colony of Karachi, the police say that all the five foreigners in the vehicle were safe while the police opened fire and killed the two terrorists.

According to the police, the driver and the guard in the van have died while all the foreigners have been shifted to a safe place.

Police say one suicide bomber blew himself up while his second accomplice was shot dead by police.

The second terrorist killed was also a suicide bomber

Police officials say that according to initial reports, the second terrorist killed in the encounter was also a suicide bomber. A suicide jacket and a grenade were found tied to the body of the said terrorist.

Police have cordoned off the area after the incident, bomb disposal team has reached the spot.

According to police officials, foreigners working in the export processing zone, the van was targeted by a motorcycle-borne suicide bomber, a Kalashnikov and a bag full of hand grenades were also recovered from the scene.

3 people were injured in the suicide attack

Police have said that 3 people have been injured in the suicide attack, who have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

Jinnah Hospital officials have said that no foreigners are among the injured in the blast, the injured include 2 security guards and a passerby.

The condition of 2 injured is critical

According to the officials of Jinnah Hospital, Noor Muhammad, Langar Khan, Salman Rafiq are among the injured.

Damage to car and bike

According to the police, a nearby vehicle and a motorcycle were also damaged in the blast.

The security guard who witnessed the incident told ‘Jeo News’ that we left Zamzam in 2 vehicles from the defense area, there was a loud explosion near Mansehra Colony, after the explosion a terrorist was firing at the vehicle.
