Australia announced squad for T20 World Cup

Cricket Australia has announced the squad for the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup.

Ricky Ponting, Glenn McGrath, Michael Hussey, Matthew Hayden, Adam Gilchrist, Stuart Clarke and Michael Clarke announced the squad along with Andrew Symonds’ children.

All-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been made the captain of the Australia T20 team.

The Australian squad for the T20 World Cup includes Ashton Agar, Pat Cummins, Tim David, Nathan Ellis and Cameron Green.

Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Ingles and Glenn Maxwell are part of the squad.

Apart from this, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoins, Matthew Wade, David Warner and Adam Zampa are also included in the T20 World Cup squad.

Steve Smith failed to make the Australian squad for the T20 World Cup.
