Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament; Pakistan and Japan will compete in the final on May 11

Lahore: The final of the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament between Pakistan and Japan will be played on May 11.

Pakistan hockey team will play their last pool match in the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament against New Zealand on Friday.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced the National Junior Hockey Championship from June 25 to prepare for the Junior World Cup. This championship will be held in Rawalpindi.

According to President PHF Tariq Hussain Bugti, our focus is also on finding new boys along with seniors and at the junior level, we have done extensive planning for the Junior World Cup scheduled next year.

He said that the talent found in the National Junior Championship will be given maximum tours abroad with the best coaching.

Tariq Hussain Bugti said that the Pakistan senior team has proved by giving excellent performance in the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament that if the players have full patronage, they can go far, and will request the Prime Minister for PHF funds.

He said that as the president of PHF, I will try to make sure that I can solve all the issues including the daily allowances of the players.
