Balochistan’s problems should be solved through dialogue, Asif Zardari

President Asif Ali Zardari has said that the problems of Balochistan should be solved through dialogue.

Addressing the dinner of Chief Minister Balochistan in Quetta, the President said that giving development and prosperity to Balochistan is the first priority of the government.

He said that Balochistan is of special importance due to its mineral resources and coastal belt, there is a need to extract the mineral resources of the province in a modern way.

Asif Ali Zardari further said that there is oil and gas in Balochistan but we have not developed this sector on modern lines till date.

He said that it is time to extract the natural resources of Balochistan to meet the country’s economic needs.

The President also said that he is trying to do more work for the development of Balochistan, the problems of the province should be solved through dialogue.

He said that the barren lands of Balochistan will be made capable of increasing agricultural production, the eighteenth constitutional amendment was passed to give rights to the provinces.

Asif Ali Zardari said that Benazir is giving packages to low income families through Income Support Program (BISP). Efforts are being made to expand programs like Benazir Income Support.
