Antonis and his team looked at data from more than 580,000 women and more than 3,500 men who were diagnosed with breast cancer between 1995 and 2019.

The researchers found that all women who survived breast cancer had twice the risk of developing a tumor in the second breast compared to women who had never had breast cancer, while men who had been cured had a 55% higher risk of developing the cancer again. It was more.
