World record for the most tree huggers in the shortest period of time

Tap: A Ghanaian forestry student has set a world record for hugging the most trees in an hour.

According to media reports, a citizen named Abubakar Tahro has won the Guinness World Record by hugging 1,123 trees in the shortest period of time in the Tuskegee National Forest.

In order to set the record, it was necessary that Abu Bakr wrap both his arms completely around each tree without damaging the trees. And no tree could be hugged more than once.

Also, Abu Bakr was fasting during the record attempt which made the challenge more difficult.

Abubakar told Guinness World Records that not drinking water during the entire effort was a grueling challenge. However, this also helped in a way because there was no need to stop for water breaks and I continued my effort from start to finish.
