Chance of rain and hail in the upper parts of the country today

The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of rain and hail at few places today in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Yesterday there was heavy rain in Balochistan, rivers were flooded due to unusual hailstorm.

The Quetta Ziarat highway was washed away in flood lanes at many places, crops, gardens and solar panels were also damaged by the hailstorm.

On the other hand, it rained in several areas of Punjab including Jhang and Sargodha.

There was hailstorm in Shikai Valley and Spain, rain in Azad Kashmir’s Neelum Valley and snowfall in higher areas.
