IG Sindh Police advises citizens to install hidden cameras themselves

Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon advised the citizens to install hidden cameras themselves.

Karachi Safe City will be built when it is built, IG Sindh said in the advice that for now citizens themselves should install cameras in their homes and business places.

IG Sindh said that people should support the Sindh Police, install secret cameras in their homes and business places.

He further said that citizens should cooperate with him in giving voluntary testimony wherever needed.

Sindh Police rejected the media report of 63 deaths due to robbery resistance during the Karachi street crime in the year 2024.

The report submitted to the IG stated that the casualties were 63 and not 48.
