Gujarat: The 28-year-old candidate of Muslim League (Q) Chaudhry Musa Elahi defeated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in the by-election of PP-32 Gujarat by-election of Punjab Assembly. Defeated by a margin.
According to Express News, according to the unofficial and unofficial results received from PP-32, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi’s nephew Musa Elahi got 63 thousand 536 votes and defeated his uncle by a huge margin of 45 thousand 209 votes.
According to the unofficial and unofficial results, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi got 18 thousand 327 votes, Muslim League (Q) activists came to the streets in Gujarat shouting slogans and celebrating the victory in a grand manner.
Chaudhry Musa Elahi of Muslim League (Q), who defeated Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, is the nephew of former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and the son of former federal minister Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain. His elder brother Chaudhry Hussain Elahi is also a member of the National Assembly. .
Musa Elahi was previously in the third place by getting 26 thousand 797 votes from NA-62 in the general election held on February 8, while Parvez Elahi was undefeated after contesting the election 9 times from this constituency.
Salik Hussain defeated Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in PP-32 constituency of Punjab Assembly on February 8.
It should be noted that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi is currently in jail in a corruption case and in his absence his wife Qaisara Elahi and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s sister Samira Elahi had run an election campaign.
