In Karachi, the price of naan is fixed at 17 rupees and the price of chapati is fixed at 12 rupees

Karachi: While reducing the price of flour, Commissioner Karachi has set the price of 120 grams of naan at Rs.17 and 100 grams of chapati at Rs.12 in the city.

Commissioner Karachi and Controller General Prices and Supplies Syed Hasan Naqvi decided to reduce the prices of flour, sugar, roti and chapati and fixed the new prices of naan, the notifications of which have been issued separately.

In Karachi, the retail price of flour per kg is Rs.98, the wholesale price is Rs.93 and the price of X flour mills is Rs.90 per kg. The price of retail fine flour has been fixed at Rs 125 per kg and the price of milled flour has been fixed at Rs 123 per kg.

The commissioner has also fixed the new price of sugar, according to which the wholesale price of sugar has been fixed at Rs 137 per kg, and the retail price has been fixed at Rs 140 per kg. Currently, sugar is being sold at Rs 150 per kg in the market.

According to the new tification, the commissioner has fixed the price of 120 grams of tandoori naan at Rs.17, and the price of 100 grams of chapati at Rs.12 in Karachi.

Earlier, the prices of the three commodities were reviewed in separate meetings chaired by the Commissioner Karachi in his office, where all the Deputy Commissioners, Bureau of Supply officers of the Food Department, representatives of consumer organizations and representative associations of all commodities were present. representatives of the participated and the prices of the said goods have been fixed with their consultation and co-operation.
