Investigation against 78 police personnel sent to Karachi

Investigation is going on against 78 police personnel who were transferred from Shikarpur to Karachi.

78 policemen have been transferred from Shikarpur to Karachi on the charge of facilitating raw material dacoits.

IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon has confirmed that the officials have not been given any posting in Karachi.

He further said that there were several complaints against the police officers, including links with criminals, on the basis of which they were removed from the posting.

IG Sindh Police also said that action has been initiated against them under police rules.

He said that show-cause notices have been issued to the officials to show cleanliness, all the officials are being transferred to B Company.

According to IG Sindh Police, further action will be taken in the light of the investigation report.
