Lailat Mubaraka Al Qadr – Express Urdu

Ramadan Mubarak is a guest for us for a few days, whoever values it will be in great luxury and those who are laziness still have an opportunity to perform worship in the last hours of the month of guest and By making time more useful, prepare your forgiveness, this is our purpose of Ramadan.

Sayyidna Abu Saeed Al-Khudri narrates that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, Meaning:

”No doubt! Allah Ta’ala frees people from hell every day and night in Ramadan, and every day and night of Ramadan there is a supplication for every Muslim, which is blessed with acceptance.

The special thing in the last ten years which is of great importance and virtue is I’tikaf. A Muslim who abandons all his busyness and stays in the mosque with the sole intention of worshiping Allah is called itikaaf. This blessed act is confirmed by the Prophet. He used to perform itikaaf in the mosque every year during the last decade of Ramadan. There are many virtues of retreat. Regarding the Holy Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas says that he was the most generous in doing good deeds. In Ramadan, he used to give more charity than the wind and excelled in good deeds. (Bukhari)

The entire month of Ramadan is full of the blessings and mercy of God Almighty, but its last ten days are very special. What distinguishes the last decade of Ramadan from the other two decades is Lailat-ul-Qadr, i.e. Night of Power, which is also called Lailat Mubarakat in the Qur’an. While describing the virtues of this night, Allah Almighty said, Meaning: “Hum! By the book of explanation, indeed We have sent it down in the blessed night. No doubt! We are the scarecrows, in this night every strong work is judged. By order from Us, We are the ones who send the messengers.” (Al-Dukhan)

At another place he said as follows, meaning:

“Certainly, We revealed it, the Qur’an, on the Night of Decree. Do you know what the Night of Decree is?” The Night of Qadr is better than a thousand months. Angels and spirits (Gabriel) descend in it by the command of their Lord to perform every work. This night is one of complete security and lasts until dawn.” (Surah Al-Qadr)

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever stays the Night of Decree in a state of faith and with the intention of reward, his past sins are forgiven.” (Sahih Bukhari)

Sayyidna Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying that Lailat-ul-Qadr is in the last ten days and also heard: “When nine, seven, five or three or the last night is left, then Search” (Jami’i Tirmidhi).

Sayyiduna Abu Bakr would pray as usual during the first twenty nights of Ramadan, but when the last decade began, he would work hard in worship. One of the odd nights of the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan is one of the most important nights. There are also some signs of Shab-i-Qadr. In the morning of Shab-e-Qadr, the sun rises without its rays. (Muslim) When the moon rises on Shab-i-Qadr, it is like the edge of a large plate. (Sahih Muslim) Shab-i-Qadr is a pleasant night in which there is neither heat nor cold. This morning the sun rises so that its redness is dim. (Ibn Khuzimah)

In Shab-i-Qadr, a person can pray whatever he wants as usual. However, the special dua on this night must be prayed and that dua has been explained by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): “O Allah! Verily, You are Forgiving, Merciful, You love forgiveness, so forgive me.” (Jami’i at-Tirmidhi)

According to the order of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Sadaqah al-Fitr is given at the end of the month of Ramadan in celebration of the completion of fasting. Sadaqah al-Fitr should be given before the Eid prayer. May Allah allow us to forgive him in Ramadan, make us like him and may Allah be pleased with us. Amen
