Former Australian captain Michael Clarke expressed surprise over the absence of all-rounder Imad Wasim from the Pakistan team.
While commentating during the last over in the final of the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), former Australian cricketer and commentator Michael Clarke praised all-rounder Imad Wasim.

Michael Clarke said that Imad Wasim is my MVP (Most Valuable Player) for the finals, if he is not playing for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup, it is very wrong.
Earlier, Imad Wasim had said in his interview that if the selectors call him to play in the World Cup, then he is ready to return to the national team.

He said that while playing for Pakistan, I have to be supported by people, if my country ever needs it, I will be available.
